Asia specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and grief. During sessions, she utilizes CBT, DBT, and Multicultural Counseling Interventions to empower and support people of various backgrounds and intersectional identities. Asia received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Spelman College, and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. Asia has worked with numerous organizations that specialize in depression, trauma, anxiety, substance abuse, learning disabilities, and family dynamics. She has also obtained lengthy experience working with clients of color, assisting in acknowledging the social and cultural impacts on clients’ emotional welfare.
